GAB 11 (Surface Cleaning)

It is the safest method of sanitizing any surface in any food and pharma setting. Even if ethanol is diluted to a 70% solution, it’s still effective at killing microbes, bacteria and other microorganisms at the surface of counters.

GAB 22 (Hand Sanitizers)

At certain concentrations, ethanol can kill a variety of different types of bacteria and viruses. Research has shown, ethanol works to break down the structure of the protein of bacteria. The antimicrobial properties of ethanol increase with a mix of ethanol and water, making hand sanitizers more effective than pure ethanol in killing bacteria.

GAB 33 (Paints and Varnishes; Industrial Solvent)

It is widely used as a binder in water borne paints. It softens the pigments, so they are sticky and when the ethanol evaporates the pigments stick together. In varnishes, it dissolves well and evaporates very quickly without leaving any residue. And to conclude, the product is cheap and acts as a good industrial solvent.

GAB 44 (Printing)

It plays as important role in offset printing, reducing the surface tension of dampening solution, it ensures better wetting and adhesion on the surface of the printing plates and stabilizes the water balance.

GAB 55 (Laboratory Reagent)

It is widely used in the school and college laboratories because of it’s low freezing point and low toxicity. Because of this property it is used as a cooling bath to keep vessels at temperatures below the freezing point of water.

GAB 66 (Perfumery & Cosmetics)

Fragrances are volatile compounds and are constantly released into the air. As ethanol can solubilize most of the ingredients in perfumes, it is widely used by perfumers. Moreover, this evaporates quickly as it is warmed by skin temperature, releasing the fragrances evenly over the surface. In cosmetics, it facilitates the penetration of active ingredients into the superficial layers of the skin and promotes the deposit of ingredients on the skin or hair. For eg., in make-up, it improves the deposit of foundation pigments on the skin. It is a very useful hydrolysing agent that helps dissolve certain ingredients. That is why it is found in hair styling products, foundations etc., due to its drying, refreshing and antimicrobial properties.
